Paper Flashcards
Privacy Policy
Paper Flashcards is built around no-login, no-upload printing. This page explains what stays local during the public beta.
Paper Flashcards is built around a browser-first privacy model. Pasted card text, layout settings, and the current deck are handled locally by the app so students can prepare print sheets without uploading study material.
Future support systems may use privacy-safe records such as support IDs, payment status, deck-size buckets, and print-event summaries, but they must not store card fronts, backs, notes, topics, or uploaded file contents.
The public beta is designed to be useful before any payment system exists. Small decks can be printed now, larger decks can be previewed, and checkout-related language should stay clear that paid large-deck printing is not active yet.
Because this is a student utility, the support flow should ask for browser, paper size, grid, orientation, duplex mode, and print-preview behavior before asking for sensitive content. Most printing issues can be diagnosed without seeing private study notes.
Future payment and entitlement work should use provider-neutral records, support IDs, and privacy-safe event summaries. The selected payment provider should remain the source of truth for payments, refunds, and payment-method details.
Paper Flashcards should continue to treat the browser as the primary workspace. If server-side records are added later, they must support access, support, and dispute review without collecting card fronts, card backs, notes, topics, or uploaded files.
- Public beta printing is free for small decks.
- No payment processor is active right now.
- Support records must not include private flashcard text.
- The canonical public site is https://paperflashcards.com.
JavaScript loads the full interactive workspace for paste, preview, layout controls, and browser-native printing. This static summary keeps the page understandable for crawlers and no-script visitors.
